The activity of Solawest Seed Potatoes is to multiply public and exclusive varieties (created by our breeding station).
Solawest is situated in Brittany in the west of France.
Our production is mainly the result of Britain agriculture, which ensures a quality health and early production.
Brittany is zone of contamination for brown rot, clavibacter and other quarantine diseases.
Key figures :
- 60 % of our production is sold in foreign countries (Europe, North Africa and West Africa, Middle East area)
- 20 multiplicated varieties, which 12 exclusives
- 80 farmers and over one hundred of distributors or partners
